  • July 31, 2015

ADL New York Region congratulates Westchester Advisory Committee (WAC) Chair Larry Bahr for being selected to participate in Westchester Jewish Council’s Leadership Development Institute.

ADL nominated Larry for this prestigious program as a result of his hard work in leading the committee since 2014, his involvement with the New York Regional Board, and for his dedication to ADL over the last 15 years. In his role as Committee Chair, Larry spearheads many of ADL’s programs and events in Westchester while working with an enthusiastic group of 21 committee members.

The Leadership Development Institute is a one-year program established to introduce participants to key issues facing the Jewish community and its institutions. The nine sessions led by experts will address a wide range of subject matter including:

The Challenges Facing Organizations and Synagogues Today

Being All Things to All People

Creating Engagement

Effective Goal and Strategy Setting

Fiduciary Responsibilities and Governance

Westchester County Jewish Issues

Skill Building and Leadership Skills

A Jewish Leader’s Guide to Understanding Israel

Throughout this program, Larry will be afforded the opportunity to develop a network of peers throughout the county with whom he can exchange ideas about common issues, both during these sessions and in the years to come.

Thank you Larry for all of your hard work!
