20th Annual Human Relations Award Honors Legal Luminaries and Raises over $750,000

On Monday, December 8th, the New York Region celebrated the 20th annual Human Relations Award Luncheon honoring legal and community leaders Bradley J. Butwin, Chair of O’Melveny & Myers and Pierre M. Gentin, Managing Director and Global Head of Litigation and Regulatory Investigations at Credit Suisse for their support of the mission and work of ADL in New York. The afternoon also recognized Charles A. Stillman, Partner at Ballard, Spahr, Stillman & Friedman LLP with the Founder’s Award, acknowledging his role in the creation of the Lawyers Division and decades of service to the ADL. Deborah M. Lauter, Director of Civil Rights, served as the keynote and addressed the growing issues of anti-Semitism and extremism and ADL’s critical role in protecting civil rights and addressing and combatting hate. The luncheon, held at The Pierre Hotel, brought together over 380 donors and raised over $750,000.
