ADL Offers $2,500 Reward For Information in Queens Assault That Left Muslim Man Hospitalized

New York, NY June 8, 2016 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) announced today it is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals who brutally assaulted Mohamed Rasheed Khan in a possible hate crime.

“We hope this reward leads to the swift apprehension of those responsible for this horrific possible hate crime,” said Evan R. Bernstein, ADL New York Regional Director. “No one should be singled out for their religious or ethnic identity. We hope to sends a message that anti-Muslim acts have no place in New York City or America.”

According to police and other reports, on June 1, Khan was riding his bike outside of the Center for Islamic Studies in the Jamaica neighborhood in Queens when he was attacked by three unknown individuals.

The assault left him hospitalized with serious injuries.
