School district works to overcome lawsuit legacy with anti-bullying message

“In its second year as a designated No Place For Hate school, the Pine Bush school district uses programs from the national Anti-Defamation League to teach students tolerance and respect. It’s an especially important lesson in a school district that was left reeling when five students filed a lawsuit in 2012 that alleged they were bullied – often physically – for being Jewish, and administrators did nothing about it. The lawsuit was settled this summer.”
