The Jewish World: Anti-Semitism on Campus

  • January 13, 2015

On January 4, 2015, ADL New York Region conducted a Words to Action training workshop for 25 Albany based Jewish High School and College students. The goal of Words to Action is to equip students with the necessary tools to identify and respond to anti-Semitism and anti-Israel bias on college campuses and the community at large.

The Jewish World writes, “The workshop inspired a level of enthusiasm and active participation by the students that was almost hard to believe coming from a group of mostly teens at an educational seminar. It’s safe to say that if these young people take the information they learned to heart, they’ll be able to enter, or return to college  better equipped to identify and deal with the biases that allow anti-Semitism to survive.”
