This week at ADL we advocated for (and celebrated) the passage of the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act in the Senate. We hosted the Verdict: ADL Amicus Briefs of the 2012 – 2013 Supreme Court Term for our Young Lawyers Division where we reviewed the various amicus briefs we took part in filing over the past year. These included many of the cases which came to exciting conclusions this week like U.S. v. Windsor and Hollingsworth v. Perry. On Wednesday we recognized our most committed donors with an evening at a Yankees game. We also released New York Representative Carolyn Maloney’s inspirational video recounting her work to honor the Civil Rights march from Selma to Birmingham, which can be found on our Twitter or Facebook page.
